poem: thrown off with just the slightest push

thrown off with just the slightest push
a sprint, all hurried, just to keep in line
with expectations set some other year
you’ve made and broken resolutions
plenty
all since then
hell, you don’t remember half
of what you’d like to do

please, share your thoughts about this piece
